MTL DESIGN, INC., is a general construction company, which does business in the Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence County areas of New York State, although we are not limited to those counties and have done other work outside of those areas. We do both residential and commercial work. Mike Lyndaker, of Copenhagen, New York, is the owner and president of MTL Design, Inc.
He brings to his company many years of construction experience, having been in the construction industry all of his adult life. Over the years, Mike has learned this industry from the ground up so he is fully aware of all of the challenges of the physical end of the construction industry as well as the office/paperwork portion of the job. He is the salesperson and estimator for the company and has expertise in the field has secured many varied and different projects over the years of the company's existence. His reputation precedes him as being honest, straight forward, hardworking, and an excellent finished project is always the goal for which he strives. A satisfied customer is first and foremost in his objective from the moment that he meets with you until your project be it small or large comes to fruition.
The company specializes in many things. One being sitework - his brother, Rob, is on board with the company and does the sitework. Another specialty of the company is concrete work. Mike is very particular about his finished concrete. We have been told many, many times what a great job our finished product is. We are also in general construction - meeting the needs in both the commercial and residential arenas. The company also specializes in the steel building industry representing American Building Systems, and the wood frame business - representing Lester Buildings.
Rob Lyndaker, Mike's brother, brings many years of construction experience to the table. He has mostly worked in sitework and assists the company in that regard as well as being a foreman for the company. His knowledge and help has greatly assisted the company in its growth.
Sue Swartout, is office manager, and brings many years of knowledge in the office and accounting field as well as her experience in the construction industry.

Our best resources are the people who make up our talented staff - from the owner of the company to the employees in the field. Our goal is to have a satisfied customer. It is very important to us then to listen to our customer as he states his needs and to work with him to meet and/or exceed his expectations of his project. We have access to many qualified individuals who assists us in fulfilling the customers needs.
